Discover why our exclusive collection of luxurious hand-woven chenille fabrics & throws is preferred by America’s most renowned interior designers & their clients. In 1985, Andria Senini’s first private collection of original hand-woven fabrics created for her special clients was put on display in the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. Back then, it was a one-women operation, with Andria at the design loom, the production loom, the sample room, the phones and the word -processor. Today, designer showrooms around America display dozens of patterns and colorways. Each order is custom yarn-dyed and hand-woven in our studio, located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, by one of our four skilled weavers using state of the art production handlooms. Andria Senini’s love of texture, sophisticated color and pattern concepts, and meticulous dedication to quality sets this remarkable textile collection apart. The products feature only the finest, most beautiful yarns, custom dyed and woven to order. Chenille is the focus, ranging from thick and fluffy chenilles for rustic elegance, to lighter-weight, refined chenille weaves with a velvety hand. Interesting accent yarns add unique visual qualities to many patterns, qualities that simply are not found in mass produced fabrics. Handweaving techniques allow Andria Senini Design to use only the most beautiful yarns, in combinations and structures that are not feasible for power-looms. Philosophically, it is hard to deny the beauty and character of things touched by the human hand versus the standardized products of machines. While there are patterned weaves of undeniable beauty coming off of today’s power looms, when it comes to texture weaves, the hand-woven products of Andria Senini Design make it clear that only a skilled weaver on a handloom can produce such exceptional, luxurious products.
